We stand behind every Kaotica product. If you're not completely satisfied with your Kaotica Series purchase, 

you may return it within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Individual pop filter purchases are

not eligible for return or exchange and are final sale. 

USA customers receive free return shipping with a prepaid return label. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. At this time, returns and exchanges are only available for orders shipped within the United States.

International Orders

At this time, returns and exchanges are not available for orders shipped outside the United States.

Holiday Returns

Orders placed between November 15 and January 15 qualify for an extended return period of up 

to 60 days from the date of delivery.

Return Condition Requirements

Returned items should be in their original packaging and in good condition.

• Lightly used products are acceptable.
• Products showing excessive wear, damage, or misuse are not eligible for a refund or exchange.
• Items that do not meet our return requirements may be returned to the customer at their expense.

No Restocking Fees

We never charge restocking fees.

We'll provide a prepaid return label (USA orders) and return instructions.

Return Deadline

Once return instructions have been issued, the item must be shipped back within 7 business days. 

Returns received outside this timeframe may not be eligible for a refund.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll notify you by email.

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5 business days.

Limited 1-Year Warranty

Kaotica products are covered by a limited one-year warranty from the date of original retail purchase.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur during normal,

intended use of the product.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Abuse, misuse, or accidents
• Unauthorized modifications or alterations
• Normal wear and tear
• Cosmetic wear from regular use
• Damage resulting from improper handling

Because the Eyeball is designed to securely hold a microphone, normal wear associated with microphone 

insertion and removal is expected and is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Additionally, normal wear of the pop filter, removal of the pop filter, and damage resulting 

from improper pop filter handling are not covered under warranty.

The Kaotica Eyeball is designed to simplify your vocal recording process by delivering studio-quality sound anywhere you go. To get the best performance out of your Eyeball, here are a few quick tips that can make a big difference:

1. Set Your Mic to Cardioid

If your microphone has selectable polar patterns, make sure it’s set to cardioid. This focuses the mic’s sensitivity to sounds coming from the front and minimizes room noise.

2. Mic Placement Matters

Ensure your microphone is centered inside the Eyeball cavity and facing forward. Proper positioning helps capture your voice cleanly and evenly.

3. Use High-Quality Cables

Over time, cheap cables can introduce noise and degrade your audio quality. For best results, we recommend using a high-grade cable—Mogami is our go-to.

4. Speak Directly Into the Eyeball

Talk or sing straight into the front of the Eyeball, not at an angle. Try placing your setup in the center of the room to avoid reflections from nearby walls.

5. Watch Your Gain Levels

If things sound too loud or distorted, especially with USB mics, try lowering your input gain slightly. The Eyeball channels your voice directly into the mic, which can boost levels.

6. Soften the Room

While the Eyeball greatly reduces reflections, adding a few soft materials—like a rug, blanket, or curtains—can help tame the rest of your environment.

7. Experiment with Distance

Try adjusting how close or far you are from the Eyeball to find the sweet spot for tone. Closer will sound more intimate, while a bit more distance can offer a natural, open feel

These small adjustments can make a big impact on your sound. With the right setup, the Kaotica Eyeball helps you achieve professional-level results without the hassle of a full studio build.

Certain short-bodied microphones like the TLM 103, when encased in a Kaotica product, may not be able to attach to their respective shock-mounts. In this case, your Kaotica product will sit decoupled from the shock-mount, but it will still be stable.

For shock-mounts equipped with elastic grip systems, such as those commonly sold with Audio Technica microphones, you'll need to remove the elastic bands and center attachment within the shock-mount. Once you do this, your Kaotica will rest on the frame of the shock-mount, remaining decoupled yet secure.

To clean your Kaotica, we recommend gently using a sticky lint roller, as the foam naturally attracts dust and debris. For more stubborn stains, dampen a non-abrasive, lint-free cloth and gently rub the area. Remember to avoid soaking the foam, and always let it air dry thoroughly. As for the pop filter, it's now dishwasher safe. Just remove it from your Kaotica, place it in your dishwasher, and let it dry fully before reattaching. This convenience helps ensure your pop filter stays clean, maintaining the best sound quality for your recordings.

Order Processing 

Please allow up to 2 business days for your order to be processed before shipment. 

All orders are subject to a customer verification process. To prevent delays, please ensure that your name, shipping address, billing information, and contact details are complete and accurate when placing your order. 

Kaotica reserves the right to delay, refuse, or cancel an order if we identify inaccurate information, suspicious activity, or evidence of fraud. 

Estimated Delivery Times

Once your order has been processed and shipped, estimated delivery times are:

United States: 3–5 business days 

Worldwide: Typically, 7–10 business days

Although most international orders arrive within 7–10 business days, delivery can take up to 4 weeks in some cases due to customs clearance, local carrier delays, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside of Kaotica’s control.

Orders are shipped and delivered on business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

International Duties and Taxes

Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to import duties, tariffs, taxes, brokerage charges, and other fees imposed by the destination country.

These charges are not included in Kaotica’s product or shipping prices and are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend contacting your local customs office before ordering to determine whether additional charges may apply.

Tracking and Delivery Estimates

We do our best to provide accurate shipping and delivery estimates. However, delivery dates shown in tracking information are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed.

Kaotica is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance, weather, carrier disruptions, incorrect or incomplete address information, failed delivery attempts, or other circumstances outside of our control.

Shipping charges are non-refundable when a delivery is delayed for reasons beyond Kaotica’s control.

Temporarily Out-of-Stock and Backordered Items 

If an item becomes temporarily unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you by email and provide the estimated shipping date.

Backordered items will be shipped as soon as they become available at no additional shipping cost. If your order contains other available products, those items may be shipped separately.

No, Kaotica is a microphone accessory and does not include a microphone, microphone stand, or shock-mount.

Kaotica simplifies your mixing and mastering process by isolating the microphone and reducing ambient noise. This results in cleaner, uncolored vocals, reducing the need for extensive post-production editing and equalization, allowing your vocals to shine naturally.

The multiple charges you're noticing are likely duplicate pending charges that are in the process of being authorized by your financial institution. When you make an online purchase with your credit card, your bank initially places a hold on your account to verify the funds for the transaction. Once your transaction is processed, this preauthorized hold should be lifted within a few business days. Rest assured; no additional funds will be withdrawn from your account. For any further concerns or clarifications, we recommend reaching out to your financial institution.

The Kaotica Series has 5 models tailored for different microphones.  

1. The original Kaotica Eyeball fits most side-address microphones with long/short-bodies within a diameter of 38mm to 57mm or 1.50” to 2.25”.

2. The Kaotica Fatboy is modified to accommodate larger diameter side-address microphones with long/ short bodies within a diameter of 63mm to 95mm or 2.50” to 3.75”. 

3. The Kaotica 7b is designed for front-address microphones typically used in podcasting and live radio applications.  Specifically. It will accommodate a diameter between 38mm to 57mm or 1.50” to 2.25” including the Shure SM7b. 

4. The Kaotica 800C is designed specifically for high-end tube microphones, such as the Golden Age and Sony 800 series.

5. The Kaotica Live is tailored for front address and shotgun microphones primarily used in live performances and recording instruments.  The most common fits include the Shure SM57, Shure SM58, and Sennheiser MKH 416.

Once an order has been placed, we process it immediately to ensure prompt delivery. However, if your order has not yet been shipped, we might be able to cancel it. Please email us immediately at customer@kaoticalife.com if you need to cancel. We cannot guarantee the cancellation, but we will do our best to assist you.

When you pay via PayPal eCheck, it essentially operates as an electronic funds transfer from your bank account to our PayPal account. These transactions can take up to 7 business days to clear. As a safety measure, we only process and ship orders after the eCheck has successfully cleared.

In the event that an eCheck bounces, PayPal will attempt to reprocess the payment in 3 business days. The clearing process may then take up to another 7 business days.

The Kaotica products come with a custom-fitted silicone pop filter. However, every artist has a unique sound and might have specific preferences when it comes to recording. Some might choose to use an additional pop filter or replace Kaotica's pop filter with their own to fine-tune their sound. If an additional pop filter is used, it should be placed directly against the front opening of the Kaotica for optimal results.

Kaotica is engineered to concentrate your vocal sound directly into the microphone, enhancing the richness and volume of your recording. This might cause your output to seem louder. For optimal recording levels, you may need to adjust the input gain or the gain settings of your microphone, software, or interface, especially if you're using a USB microphone.
