Why do my recordings sound louder when I use my Kaotica?
How does Kaotica affect my mixing and mastering?
I tried my Kaotica, and it doesn’t sound right. What do I do?
· Make sure you are actively speaking/singing into the Kaotica.
· Ideally, your Kaotica and microphone should be centered in the recording area or room. This allows for the reverberations to disperse through the air, limiting room reflections. Try setting up in different areas your recording space to see what sounds best.
· If your recording space is less than ideal (concrete, windows, bare floors, and walls, etc.) minor tweaks and additions could help. Try adding a rug under your microphone stand, extra sound dampening objects or insulation around the recording space.
· Adjusting the space between the vocalist and your Kaotica will affect the sound. Experiment with different distances to determine what works best.
My microphone will not screw into its shock-mount. Why?
